INSIDE THE HOME
This home has recently been totally repainted with other updates including a new kitchen with upgraded stainless appliances, a renovated bathroom, and beautifully refinished hardwood floors. The three bedrooms and one bath will accommodate 8 guests comfortably. The living room features plenty of comfortable seating and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV with a DVD player. Additionally, there is a large laundry area downstairs complete with an oversized washer and dryer. The kitchen is fully equipped with all pots and pans, dishes, utensils, baking dishes, and most kitchen essentials.

In the outdoor shed, you will find three adult bikes, beach chairs, a cooler, a beach wagon, kids' sand toys, and outdoor games including corn hole that are provided for your use.
Parking: Parking is provided for 2 cars in the driveway and as available, street parking in front of the home.

We had the best time in South Haven. This was my first time here. We stayed for a birthday weekend. The Flip Flop house was a very close walk to the South Beach. An 18 min walk from the night club we ended our last night. Which we all needed. The house was so clean, adorable decor, comfy beds, towels for all, and everything we needed. The AC was super efficient which we all appreciated. No fans needed. Since the weather wasn’t the best, we spent a lot of time on the screened in porch, which was perfect. Communicating was easy and quickly responded to. Thank you. Looking forward to another visit sometime.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cute 3-bedroom, 1-bath home. The location was fantastic—close to the beach, playgrounds, shops, and restaurants, making it easy to get around and enjoy the area.The backyard was a wonderful space for the kids to run around and play, while the screened-in porch was the perfect spot to relax after a day at the beach. We also appreciated the shed stocked with beach supplies, which was such a thoughtful and convenient touch.The home is older, but it was clean, well cared for, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kids especially loved the bunk room—it was definitely a highlight for them!Overall, this was a great place for our family, and we would happily stay here again.

This was the perfect spot for an annual girlfriends' getaway. A clean, comfortable home that was close to the beach - and anything we could need for a beach day was provided our host - close to great shopping, close to lovely restaurants. This is an adorable place, a fantastic porch and a very nice grill. We loved how easy it was to walk to shopping and the farmers market. The bedrooms were decorated cute, the bunk room is great if you have kids and the neighborhood is inviting. They also had a lot of nice extras like ziplock baggies, plastic wrap and cooking oil. We would recommend this rental for sure.

This was a great little home that we enjoyed very much. The location can't be beat as its super close (walkable) to the playground, south beach, van buren trail, and downtown area. The extra amenities to keep the kids busy were a major plus. We utilized the beach chairs, kits sand toys, and outdoor games included in the outdoor shed. Morning coffee in the screened in porch may have been a favorite part of the trip. We'd definitely consider staying here next year. The only downfall is that there isn't a dishwasher (1st world problems). It was also odd that the house was only stocked with two rolls of toilet paper and one roll of paper towels for a family of four to last 5 nights. That could have been fixed with a message to the property manager, but we just bought some extras while we were out.

We had such a lovely stay at the Flip Flop Cottage this week! The Jaqua team was very kind and responsive, and the house itself was perfect! We were able to walk to the beach and downtown South Haven every day (10-15 minute walk each), and the property so generously included a shed with lots of beach equipment. Love this place! It's a good price (relative to other much more costly houses) for a place that is close to Lake Michigan and great for families. We love all the fun stuff for kids in the garden shed (including cornhole and hula hoops) and the enclosed back porch which gives the house an extra room that's al fresco! Improvements that could be made include: stocking some swim towels; maybe some different color bath towels so people don't get so confused by which white towel is theirs; cleaning out the bath drain between bookings; unblocking the bathroom sink drain so the water flows out properly; and stocking a few more items in the kitchen like an ice-cream scoop and a good set of plastic tumblers and dishes to be used outside. We are big fans of the house, having returned this summer, and definitely recommend it to others!

This was a wonderful vacation for our family of 4 (2 adults and two toddlers); the location was perfect, and we enjoyed walking to the beach and the playground daily, as well as downtown to the marina and for ice cream. The home was cozy and comfortable, and the screened-in porch was beautiful -- we sat out every evening after the little ones went to bed. I would recommend this cottage very highly.
