Jaqua Realtors is committed to providing a clean, comfortable, and safe atmosphere where our valued guests can enjoy their vacation with confidence. The recent outbreak of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is an unprecedented situation. We are continuing to monitor announcements from the CDC and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) and to adhere to their recommendations. We are following the direction of these entities and staying updated with industry leaders regarding our approach to business and implementing the best practices available to keep our staff, owners and guests, safe and healthy.

At Jaqua Realtors, our number one concern right now is the health and safety of our staff, owners, guests, friends, family, and neighbors. We take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Our entire staff is taking great care to ensure everything you touch during your visit is sanitary and safe. In addition to our usual standards, we have taken steps to further intensify our cleaning and sanitization procedures in accordance with recommendations from the CDC and the MDHHS to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Below, we have outlined how we are adapting aspects of our business to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

OUR VACATION RENTALS

All vacation rental accommodations are thoroughly and professionally cleaned and inspected prior to guests checking in.  We revised our policies for the coming season to incorporate the best strategies for cleaning and disinfecting the vacation rentals.  We are also implementing additional training for our offices and housekeeping staff to ensure you the best and safest visit possible.

OUR REFUND POLICY

We are working diligently to take precautions as recommended by health authorities. Our goal is to ensure the health and safety of our guests, employees, and vacation rental owners. To give our guests peace of mind during this ever-changing situation, we have implemented a modified refund policy. For any reservations made prior to April 15, we are working with our guests and owners to find a solution agreeable to both parties. Any reservations made between April 15 and May 30, will be refundable until June 1, 2020, for dates of stay allowed under the current rental and travel restrictions. As of June 1, 2020, our previous reservation policy will apply.
