We just spent a weekend here with 4 families with young kids. We had such a great time. the location is beautiful, with an amazing private beach just (a few) steps away. Very short drive to grocery store and towns. Would stay here again.

This is an AMAZING off-grid getaway! With plenty of room for a large group, our family was able to spend time together in different spaces—the spacious living room and kitchen, the gazebo with its breathtaking lake views, and the beach just a short walk from the house. The beach felt wonderfully secluded, with plenty of room to explore. The calm, welcoming water was perfect even for young children, and we loved discovering the many beautiful rocks along the shore. After returning from the beach, we could hang our items on the clothesline outside before moving inside to cook our meals, which made everything feel easy and comfortable. You can also connect with nature right on the back porch, where chipmunks and birds visit as you watch the most gorgeous sunsets. Truly, this place offers everything someone could wish for to disconnect from real life. Jaqua was extremely responsive and helpful with all inquiries. The detailed check-in information was invaluable. Highly recommend!

We had such a wonderful time staying at this property. It was a family trip with my parents, immediate family, and niece and nephew. We loved the location and access to the beach. It made for such a relaxing time to be able to go down whenever we wanted and head back up for meals, etc. There isn't a cook top as stated in the description, but there is plenty of cooking options that it wasn't an issue at all. We had most all of our meals there and just had Wal-Mart deliver groceries to the rental. The only downside I should mention is that there is no washer/dryer, so we were unable to do laundry. It is only a short drive to South Haven and Saugatuk, which both have lovely shops, restuarants, and things to do. Some of the group did a fishing excursion in Holland and had a wonderful time. There are lots of games at the rental and also some beach chairs and sand toys down by the beach near the stairs from the cabin. We also really enjoyed the gazebo lookout over the lake. It was all really peaceful and relaxing.
