Summer is here and the 4th of July is just around the corner! Whether you’re staying in Saugatuck/Douglas or South Haven, a lot is happening on the lakeshore. Saugatuck/Douglas
Allegan Antiques Show | June 30th
Featuring a large variety of antiques and collectibles including vintage jewelry, glass, pottery, and more, there is something for everyone at this show. The show is from 8am-4pm and admission is $5 per person.
Douglas Farmers Market | July 2nd
Get ready for your 4th of July cookout at the farmers market! Located in downtown Douglas, the market features flowers, fresh produce, and more. The market takes place from 10am-2pm.
4th of July Parade | July 4th
Kicking off at 11am, the parade marches down Butler St. Featuring the armed forces, bands, and floats, the parade is the perfect way to kick off celebrating the 4th of July.
5th of July Fireworks | July 5th
The fun keeps rolling with fireworks on July 5th! Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy the show from Cook Parkm Coghlin Park, Wade’s Bayou, or Wick’s Park. Fireworks start at dusk.

South Haven
Live Music at New Park Gastropub | July 1st & July 4th
Head to New Park Gastropub for an evening of live music featuring local musicians. Their delicious food and beverages pair perfectly with the live music.
Wednesday Farm Market | July 3rd
Swing by the market to gather the things needed for a 4th of July cookout! Taking place from 8am-2pm, the market features fresh produce, meats, flowers, cheese, and more. The best part? It’s all grown/made by local vendors!
Light Up the Lake Fireworks | July 3rd
Taking place at dusk, the annual fireworks show takes place off the North Pier. The best places to see the fireworks are at North and South Beaches and Riverfront Park. Make sure to get there early for the best seats!
4th of July Parade | July 4th
After an evening of fireworks continue the celebration with the annual parade on July 4th! It steps off at 11am from South Haven High School and will make its way through downtown.
