Welcome to The Collingwood!

Location, location, location!  You have it here in this quaint 100-year-old home that was remodeled to maintain the character of the time period.

  This home is conveniently located just blocks from downtown South Haven and a straight walk to the steps down to South Beach with its huge sugar sandy beach and blue water.  Take in a sunset view on the bluff with the beautiful South Haven lighthouse in the background.  This house is bigger than expected because of the amazing outdoor space.  Plenty of room to hang out with a cooled and heated converted garage that opens to a large outdoor patio with an outdoor fireplace.  Use the two included bikes to take a ride on the convenient bike paths in South Haven or paddle the Black River with the two paddle boards.  Many wineries, breweries, and cider mills are a short drive away.  Plenty of fun for any season!

Inside the Home

Step into a large kitchen that is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking.  Kitchen has a peninsula with three counter stools, and the dining area features a square counter height table that seats eight – perfect for eating or playing board games or puzzles. The living room includes a desk and seating around a gas fireplace with a large television that pulls down for easy viewing.  The master bedroom features a queen-size bed with a sleep number mattress to adjust for comfort.  It has an attached master bathroom with a walk-in shower.  The second bedroom features a queen-size bed.  A full bath with tub is central on the main floor and extra sleeping is available with a sofa sleeper in the living room and another on the enclosed front porch.  Additional space is available downstairs with a seating area with a television and a large desk and beverage fridge.  Attached to this area is a full bathroom with a walk-in shower.  Also comes with a sauna

Outside the Home

Enjoy the amazing Michigan weather in the outdoor living space.  The converted garage features a split unit for heating and cooling comfort with a large TV and high-top tables with seating.  Enjoy the electronic dart board, giant Jenga and other yard games. The converted garage has a three-panel slider opening to a large patio with a Napolean gas grill and plenty of seating for dining with an umbrella or sitting around the outdoor fireplace in the comfortable L-shaped sofa.  Utilize the large double-size lot for outdoor yard games and enjoy the beautiful, secluded landscaping. 

The Location

The home is located with easy access to downtown South Haven or South Beach.  It’s a 9-minute walk to the corner of Phoenix and Kalamazoo or a 9-minute walk to beautiful South Beach on Lake Michigan with stairs at the end of our street.  Downtown South Haven is a fun beach town with a variety of souvenir and upscale shops and eclectic restaurants.  You can take a walk down along the river with marinas and beautiful views of the lighthouse and do not miss the sunsets.
