The boat parade grew to be an annual event to salute our local heroes. The entire community is invited to the South Haven Harbor for the celebration. Stepping off at 11am, the parade will begin at South Haven High School and make its way to Kalamazoo, Phoenix, and Center Streets.

Maker Mornings: Paper-Making with My Lovely Muse  | July 3rd

Learn the art of paper-making in Grand Haven! An outdoor event great for all ages, you can bring your own embellishments and take home anything you create. This two hour class is $25 or on a pay-what-you-can scale.

 

4th of July Parade | July 4th

The City of Ferrysburg is hosting a festive 4th of July celebration. The fun kicks off at 8am with a pancake breakfast, followed by a parade stepping off at 10:30am. The parade will start at City Hall, move down Ridge Avenue, along Pine Street, and end at William Ferry Park. The fun continues with a party at William Ferry Park.

 

4th of July Fireworks | July 4th

Fireworks will light up the night sky from Lynne Sherwood Waterfront Stadium. This year’s fireworks display is sure to impress. Even though the show starts at dusk, we highly recommend getting your spot early! Don’t forget your chairs, blankets, and snacks.

 

Java Jam 2025 | July 17th

Come see one of many showings of Come From Away at Saugatuck’s Center for the Arts! A celebration of human kindness and based on a true story, this heartwarming musical is being shown in Michigan for the first time at Saugatuck’s very own theater.

 

Garden Walk | July 19th

With six beautiful gardens, this year’s Garden Walk is sure to enchant you. $15 for admission, this showcase of natural beauty is a Saugatuck favorite. Flowers and garden decor are available for purchase at the starting location, and all proceeds from this event go toward scholarships for local students.
