Fall is officially here and there’s still plenty of things to do on the lakeshore! Whether you are looking for a fright or want to enjoy the fall vibes, there is an event for everyone. To make planning your fall lakeshore getaway easier, we compiled a list of some of the events happening for Halloween.

Haunted Spirits Cocktail Class | October 25th

Get in the spooky spirit in this class. You’ll have a hauntingly good time as you conjure up cocktails perfect for the season. Expert bartenders will be on hand to help with the spells. 

 

Family & Pet Halloween Walking Parade and Party | October 26th

Dress to impress in your best Halloween costume and head to Wicks Park Gazebo to be a part of the parade! Pets are welcome and encouraged to dress up to partake in the best pet costume contest. Halloween themed family friendly games and activities will take place at Wicks Park after the parade. 

 

Saugatuck/Douglas History Center Party | October 26th 

The 2nd Annual SDHC is set to take place before the parade. Snap a selfie with the Pumpkin King and show off your creativity in the thrilling costume contest where you could win a $500 prize! Saugatuck Brewing Company beer, wine, and seltzer will be available for purchase. Don’t forget to stick around for the parade! This event is open to those 18 and older.

 

Halloween in the Orchard | October 27th

Join Crane Orchards for a family-friendly Halloween celebration! There will be trunk-or-treating, music from DJ Ivan, contests, glow sticks, donuts, and more. Take the night off from cooking and enjoy walking sloppy joes and chili bowls!

 

Hauntings & History Night | October 31

Venture into the realm of the unknown for a chance to uncover the truth behind the ghostly tales that have enveloped Felt Estate for years. This year’s experience will begin in the chapel where those who have confronted the spectral mysteries will share their encounters.

Fall Festival | October 18th-20th

Enjoy some fall family fun at the Kal-Haven Outpost. The festival will include barrel rides, trunk or treating, lawn games, pumpkin bowling, and more!

Decadent Dogs Annual Howl-Oween Pooch Parade | October 26th

Dress up your pup and join in on the spooktacular parade. Don’t forget to dress up to partake in the costume contest! There will be costume contests for individual dogs and families who dress up with their dogs. 

 

Pumpkin Walk | October 27th

Throw on your best costume and wander through the pumpkin-packed woods at the Liberty Hyde Bailey Museum & Gardens. Fang-tastical treats will be available! 

 

Kruger Comics Spooktacular Halloween Event | October 31st

Head to Kruger Comics on Halloween for a spooky good time. One of the owners will be reading to kids from 3pm-5pm. The great pumpkin decorating event will take place from 6pm-9pm and the event is open to all ages!
