For brunch in Saugatuck/Douglas, check out Respite Cappuccino Court. Whether you’re in the mood for a cold coffee or hot, there are plenty of options! Not in the mood for coffee? Respite Cappuccino Court has delicious non-coffee beverages. From teas to smoothies, there’s a wide variety of drinks to try. For a quick bite to eat, they serve designer toast, sandwiches, and more. Pennyroyal Cafe & Provisions features food made with local ingredients that highlight the West Michigan farms. On the daytime menu you’ll find breakfast sandwiches, breakfast pastries, eggs, toast, bacon, soups, salads, and a variety of tasty sandwiches. Their dinner menu features small plates, soups, salads, roasted chicken, white fish, and more! Uncommon Coffee Roasters has your coffee and breakfast needs taken care of. From drip coffee to cold brews and espresso drinks, there’s a wide variety of drinks on the menu. If you’re not in the mood for coffee, try one of their smoothies, teas, or lemonades. Pair your beverage with a bagel, oatmeal, biscuits and gravy, or grab something from their grab and go station. Pumpernickels is serving up weekend brunch with Bloody Mary’s and bottomless Mimosas. Opened Wednesdays-Sundays, Pumpernickels’ breakfast menu features avocado toast, french toast, pancakes, crab cake benedict, and more. For lunch try their mahi tacos, one of their salads or sandwiches. Stopping by for dinner? On the menu you’ll find a variety of dishes from airline chicken to pasta, to fish, and more. For a delicious pairing, try one of their specialty beverages with your dinner.

 

Moving on to lunch and dinner, with a historic charm and lakefront views, The Butler serves up delicious seafood and modern American cuisine. On the menu you’ll find ½ lb burgers, salads, soups, pizzas, sandwiches, fish, chicken, and more. Make sure to leave room for desserts such as cheesecake, pies, and a cookie skillet. For southern style dishes check out The Southerner. The restaurant aims to tell the story of the Appalachian families who moved north to the Mitten State in the 1950’s. On the menu you’ll find Nana’s Fried Chicken that comes with two sides, sandwiches, mac & cheese, salads, shrimp & grits, and more. On the beverage menu are cocktails, wine, beer, and non alcoholic beverages. In downtown Saugatuck, Wicks Park Bar & Grille is serving up delicious dishes like homemade burgers, fresh lake perch, pasta, and New Orleans-style Gumbo in a casual atmosphere. On Fridays and Saturdays, hang out with some friends while enjoying some live music and good food. 

 

For brunch in South HavenPhoenix Street Cafe on Broadway is serving up delicious options with friendly service and while providing a great atmosphere. Open daily from 7am-2pm, the cafe serves up delicious options from chicken and waffles to french toast,  crab cake benedict to jumbo pancakes. If you’d rather enjoy the lunch side of brunch, try the BLT, turkey cranberry sandwich, or the Mediterranean chicken bowl. They also serve soups and salads. Pair your food with coffee, Coke products, iced teas, or an adult beverage. For delicious drinks and food made with love, Cafe Julia combines beach vibes with a cozy at home atmosphere. Whether you’re in the mood for coffee, tea, smoothie, or a non-coffee beverage, you’ll have plenty of options to choose from. Get there in time for breakfast (7:15-10:30 am) and try their breakfast sandwich or wrap. If you’re heading there around lunch time (11 am- 2:29 pm), be sure to try one of their sandwiches, salads, or soups. The cafe also has some tasty sweets including vegan and gluten free options! Comforting treats is Bundes Bakery Cafe specialty. Coffee cakes, muffins, scones, are just a few treats on the menu. Their coffee and tea options make an excellent pairing to those sweet treats.  

 

You’ll have lots of options for lunch and dinner! Check out Taste for creative and imaginative dishes. On the menu you’ll find a wide variety of dishes including sushi, sweet-n-smokey ribs, mac and cheese, salads, sandwiches, soups, a lot more. Make sure to save some room for desserts! You can’t go wrong with Chef Joel’s specialty of tiramisu. Other delicious options include a cookie pie, fruit cobbler, and banana pudding. For a taste of Italy, check out Maria’s Taste of Italy. On the menu is a wide assortment of delicious dishes including, fettuccine alfredo, chicken parmesan, pizzas, toasted sandwiches, and more. Maria’s Taste of Italy is your destination for a real family friendly Italian dining experience and the recipes have been in the family for over 70 years. For a great spot with views and delicious food in a fun atmosphere, you’ll want to go to Idler Riverboat & Dockside. On the menu are salads, a BBQ combo platter, mac & cheese, shrimp dishes, chicken, and more. Save some room for a chocolate covered elephant ear! Pair your tasty food with an adult beverage like beer, wine, or a fun cocktail.
